Use of cookies

The cookie jfcookie[lang] is a cookie customization, and serves to predefine the user's language.

The cookie _ga belongs to Google Analytics and collect anonymous information about the origin of the visit and similar information. We use this information only to evolve the site and provide a better browsing experience, therefore no risk to user privacy, since the purpose is purely statistical. However, if you want to opt-out, then download and install the Opt-out Browser Add-on Google Analytics (BETA), designed to be compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Opera.

Managing cookies in the most popular browsers

Most web browsers allow some control of cookies trhough the browser settings. Below are guidelines for managing the cookies in the most popular browsers.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select "Settings".
  3. Click "Show advanced settings".
  4. In the "Privacy" section, click the "Content settings" button.
  5. In the "Cookies" section, you can change the following cookies settings: delete cookies, block cookies by default, allow cookies by default, keep cookies and make exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domains.

To delete cookies in Internet Explorer 8

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the "Safety" button, and then click "Delete Browsing History".
  3. Select the check box next to "Cookies".
  4. Select the "Preserve Favorites website data" check box if you don't want to delete the cookies associated with websites in your Favorites list.
  5. Click "Delete".

To delete cookies

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the "Tools" button, point to "Safety", and then click "Delete browsing history".
  3. Select the "Cookies" check box, and then click "Delete".

To block or allow cookies

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the "Tools" button, and then click "Internet options".
  3. Click the "Privacy" tab, and then, under "Settings", move the slider to the top to block all cookies or the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click "OK".

Blocking cookies might prevent some pages from displaying correctly.

To delete cookies

  1. Open Internet Explorer for the desktop.
  2. Tap or click the "Tools" button, point to "Safety", and then tap or click "Delete browsing history".
  3. Select the "Cookies" check box, and then tap or click "Delete".

Enable and disable cookies in Mozilla Firefox

  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select “Options”.
  2. Select the Privacy panel.
  3. Set “Firefox will”: to “Use custom settings for history”.
  4. Check mark “Acept cookies from sites” to enable Cookies, and uncheck it to disable them.
    If you are troubleshooting problems with cookies, make sure "Accept third party cookies" is also not set to "Never".
  5. Choose how long cookies are allowed to be stored:
    Keep until “they expire”: Each cookie will be removed when it reaches its expiration date, which is set by the site that sent the cookie.
    Keep until “I close Firefox”: The cookies that are stored on your computer will be removed when Firefox is closed.
    Keep until “ask me every time”: Displays an alert every time a website tries to send a cookie, and asks you whether or not you want to store it.
  6. Click "OK" to close the Options window.

Safari

  1. Open Safari if it is not already open.
  2. Choose Safari > "Preferences", and then click "Privacy".
  3. In the “Block cookies” section, specify whether Safari should accept cookies from websites, and when.
